medicine cabinet, looking for fast relief. The same medications that bring such wonderful
relief from cold and flu symptoms may also be hindering your body's ability to deal with the
illness in its own way, and may be prolonging your suffering as medications for cold and flu
also raise blood pressure and should be avoided.

has a devastating effect on the body, and the condition worsens when medications exacerbate
the problem. Patients with hypertension should monitor their blood pressure while taking
any medication that could have harmful side effects. If possible, certain drugs should be
completely avoided to reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke.
