How to Make Tea for High Blood Pressure

Every one likes a cup of tea to freshen up. Thus, it does not come as a
surprise that certain varieties of tea are very beneficial for keeping blood pressure under
control. The best thing about herbal teas is that they are natural and free of chemicals. So, one

Alfalfa: This is a good herb for treating high blood pressure.
Mix one teaspoon of crushed alfalfa seeds in four cups of water and boil for half an hour. Strain
it, let it cool down and drink six to seven times a day.
Yarrow: This herb is used to create special tea for
hypertensive patients. Boil a cup of water in a teapot. Then add a tablespoon full of dried yarrow
to a tea ball. Put the tea ball into the teapot. Allow the boiled water and the herb to steep for
five minutes or longer depending on your taste. After that, pour the tea into a cup and drink it
hot or let it cool and add ice cubes to it. Mix your favourite sweetener and enjoy the nutritious
tea,
Marigold: Add one or two teaspoons of crushed marigold flower
heads into two cups of boiling water. Soak it for 15 to 20 minutes and then strain it before
drinking. Drink one cup twice a day for best results.
Hawthorn: Combine one teaspoon each of crushed hawthorn
blossoms and crushed dried leaves in one cup of boiling water. Brew it for 20 minutes and then
drink it when it has cooled. Drinking hawthorn tea two to three times a day is a great way to bring
blood pressure with normal range.
All these natural teas are good for lowering blood pressure. However, those
people whose problem is more severe, they need to consult their doctors and take prescribed
medicines along with these teas.
